Al-'Asr Suresi

وَاَلۡعَصۡرِ

(I swear) by Time

إِنَّ اَ۬لۡإِنسَٰنَ لَفِي خُسۡرٍ

Indeed, mankind happens to be in a state of a grave loss

إِلَّا اَ۬لَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ اُ۬لصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِالۡحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِالصَّبۡرِ

Except for those who believe, perform good deeds, strive for the truth, and strive with patience and perseverance
